As you may know, Halverson Northwest sponsors a scholarship to students through the Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF). The scholarship is focused on students who have an interest in the legal field. This year we were pleased this scholarship was awarded to Daisy Angeles who graduated from AC Davis High School in 2017, ranked 10th out of 500 graduates.
Ms. Angeles was admitted to the University of Pennsylvania and had a demanding first year, both academically and financially. She is the oldest of seven children, and the first in her family to attend university. We at Halverson Northwest are glad this additional funding will foster Ms. Angeles’ ability to immerse herself in the study of Law and wish her all the best for her sophomore year at U Penn.
