Terry Schmalz recently marked his 50th year as a member of the Washington State Bar Association. Terry graduated from the University of Washington Law School and was admitted to the Washington Bar in 1965. We at Halverson Northwest Law Group value highly his work with our firm, his tenure and involvement in the legal community as a whole, and his invaluable service to our community.
Terry joined one of our two founding firms, Halverson & Applegate, in April 1987. He also served as Chairman of the State Bar’s Legislative Committee for about six years. Furthermore, he is the current Chairman of Perry Technical Institute’s Board of Trustees, having served on the Board since 1988 and as legal counsel since 1970. Perry Technical Institute has been instrumental in cultivating and retaining talent in our region for over 75 years.
