On January 1, 2013, the law office of Velikanje Halverson officially became known as Halverson Northwest Law Group PC. Over the past several years, the firm has grown to include more than 20 attorneys representing a wide variety of practice areas and serving a broad range of regional clients. With offices in Yakima and Sunnyside, we believe our new identity better reflects the firm’s expansion in scope and services.
Our firm began with the association of the two largest and most reputable firms in the Yakima Valley. In 2007, legacy firms Velikanje, Moore & Shore and Halverson & Applegate joined to create Velikanje Halverson. In 2012, we incorporated the well-respected firm of Hart & Winfree in Sunnyside, as well as the successful labor and employment practice of Gary Lofland of Yakima. The combined depth of knowledge and legal expertise has led the firm to be recognized throughout the Northwest as the “go-to” regional law firm serving Central Washington’s unique business and agribusiness industries. The new name, Halverson Northwest, better reflects our firm's regional reach, while still honoring our legacy.
The change should appear seamless to our clients. While the name has changed, the attorneys you have come to know and trust remain the same.
